Adam

Adam is passionate about inspiring others to good health! He has been intentionally and passionately putting the CARE back into Healthcare since 2005 – as a clinician and now also as a Health business owner. His award winning clinics and values-based business models influence their unique service delivery.

From a one room/one Physio clinic in 2008, OFP has grown into a multi-award winning trusted local name and has a reputation in the Greater Springfield for “go the extra mile” style of Healthcare. From awards like “Small Business of the Year” and the U.Q. College and Ipswich Chamber of Commerce award "Young Business Person of the Year Award" to the recent Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce “Members Choice” finalist.

Adam leads the amazing Health team of over 26 and also has a passion to mentor and educate his team to ensure all the Health Pros and team are themselves are cared for and healthy - to be able to balance high empathy and patient care with high levels of self-care. This heart for other Health Pros led him to found the Complete Clinician Institute where he mentors and runs workshops for young Physios helping them to integrate the best clinical and non-clinical skills.

Adam graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours from the University of Queensland in 2004. Since completing his studies, Adam has grown a deep passion for helping patients locked in the chronic pain cycle, especially those who have been misdiagnosed, misled or a managed poorly – with persistent or complex neurological/neuropathic components to their pain.

His pursuit of the latest neuroscience research and education plus innovative treatment approaches for chronic pain has led him to undergo extensive professional development and post graduate courses in the fields of Spinal Pain, Neuropathic pain, Chronic Pain, Headache and Migraine Pain. In the last few years Adam has undergone post grad training and mentorship by Dr Dean Watson at the world renowned Watson Headache® Institute in Sydney.  As a Watson Headache® Certified Practitioner he joins only a small number in the world using this innovative approach with precision.

Adam’s deep passions are his family, faith, exercise and helping people to live healthy – to live life to the full! He is a proud husband and father of 5 energetic children, the Physiotherapist Principal, Headache Clinician, Cancer Rehab Physio, Speaker, Clinical Educator and Mentor.

Adam has always had a heart to do Healthcare differently, with genuine and memorable care factor as the focus, and his various enterprises reflect that. Michael

Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Credit) in 2008 from the University of Otago School of Physiotherapy. During his studies he had the opportunity to gain further experience in multiple private practices and the chronic pain management clinic at Burwood Hospital, where he found his true passion in Physiotherapy.

Michael has worked in private practice in New Zealand and Australia. Having competed in multiple sports including Athletics, Rugby, Judo and Swimming, he has experienced his own fair share of injuries in pursuit of performance. This has given him good insight into the impact this can have on a person, pushing them “into the negatives” Michaels personal motto has therefore become to first get his patients “out of the negatives and back to zero” before ultimately “getting them into the positives”. This ultimately means to help you become more resilient and therefore less likely to reinjure.

Michael is a keen follower of sport and this interest has led him down a sports physiotherapy pathway. He has worked closely with teams and individual athletes in many different sports providing game day coverage, team triage, and injury rehabilitation working with the patient, Coaches, Strength and Conditioning, Medical staff and other parties to return them to the field. Working in sports has also afforded Michael the opportunity to travel internationally with teams, providing exciting and unique challenges to patient management.

Working with contact sports has meant treating concussion and its myriad of symptoms. Michael has undertaken further study in this area of physiotherapy and enjoys the complex assessment and management that is sometimes required to help patients recover and return to normal life post-concussion.

Michael also has further interests in Clinical Pilates, Dry Needling and the McKenzie approach to treating spinal pain.

Michael has attained his black belt in the martial art of Judo requiring dedication, perseverance and discipline. He enjoys treating fellow martial artists as he understands the dedication required to pursue their art.

Michael and his lovely wife enjoy traveling and spending time hiking and reading on the beach.
